Testimonials
Coach Ling works closely with Happy Fish Swim School and is one of the coaches whom we are very proud to work with. Not only has Coach Ling attained the swimming teacher certification under Sports Singapore and AUSTSWIM, he has one of the rare swimming instructors who is certified and has experience teaching infants, toddlers and special needs students in swimming. Other than leading the infant and toddler group lessons on weekends, Coach Ling also supported us in projects for Special Needs Schools such as Chaoyang School and Grace Orchard School. And whenever he is available, he also helps in teaching students with special needs privately. His students include many people with Mild Learning Disability and Autisum (both Verbal and Non-verbal).
It takes a lot patience and encouragement to teach students with Special Needs. Coach Ling's cheerful and motivating personality, in addition to his firm handling of the students in class, certainly made him one of the popular coaches among the teachers, parents and students of the Special Needs School. His students look forward to their weekly swimming lessons and teachers are very comfortable to let him handled the students alone. And being a very responsible man, he is always early to prepare for his lessons and would give his 100% for every lesson he taught. He even managed to train a group of students with mild learning disability and autism to pass their swim safer stage 1 assessment within 2 terms, with once a week group lessons at Yio Chu Kang Complex.
We would strongly recommend Coach Ling to any institutuion that needs a responsible, patient and motivating leader.

Parent's Feedback
Hi Coach Ling,

Dear Yao Hui & Klein,
Buddy Sports is a perfect choice for us, their coaches are not only approachable, they are also good with interacting with children. My experience with them have been fantastic. My daughter use to be terrified of water due to an unpleasant experience in the pool. No amount of coaxing from us or instructors from other company can get her back into the pool after the incident.
I was very impress with the coaches from Buddy Sports as they did not only get her back into the water but also created in her an interest for the sport. She now enjoys every lesson she attend with them and is able to swim with confident. As parents, we are happy to see our girl overcoming a fear. Kudos to the coaches of buddy Sports.
Cheers

Adeline started swimming with Coach Ling at 23 months and after 30 minute lessons a week for just over a year, she can now swim freely, flipping on her back as well. I can only imagine the patience it takes to teach a toddler to enjoy swimming. Thank you, Ling, for keeping the lessons fun!

Feedback
Thank you, Coach Ling! My girls have gained so much confidence in the pool because of you. 6 year old Lucia used to hate water being splashed on her face even while playing in the pool. However, she can put her whole face in the water with no complaints at all, on her very first lesson with you! I am also very impressed that both Lucia and 4 year old Leticia are able to hold their breath under water to "swim" without their board floats so quickly under your teachings. They are ALWAYS looking forward to swimming lessons with you. To the extent that on swimming days when it was raining earlier, they would keep wishing for the rain to go away and cheer loudly when it is gone. The girls really love you, Coach! You are terrific!!

testimonial from Win
I thought that I can swim until I started learning breaststroke style swimming with Yao Hui. As soon as I started the first lesson, I found out that I was a wimpy swimmer. Yao Hui is very patient in teaching especially for the adult learners who have picked up the wrong swimming techniques. He is very attentive and points out my mistakes and gives the useful feedback how to correct those. He communicates in straight forward ways and so learners can understand clearly. Now, I can swim breaststroke style correctly. I have also decided to learn free style swimming with him. He is also a good coach for young swimmers. I saw him teaching children happily and affectionately. I can feel how his young students love him. I would recommend that Yao Hui is an excellent swimming coach for all types of learners.

my comment
Hi Ling,
Here’s our comment for the swim lessons :
My daughter has been swimming with Buddy Sports for slightly over a year. Coaches are friendly, patient and professional. Most importantly, they put a spin on lessons, making it thoroughly fun and enjoyable, and my daughter looks forward to her swim classes even though she has to wake up early on the weekend and jump into the cold pool. Besides learning the techniques of swimming, she was also taught safety in the water and basic water rescue. My son, age of 3, has also started swimming with them. To encourage him, lots of toys were used to make the learning process fun and challenging. My son is usually quite reserved and does not take well to strangers, but even he has warmed up quickly to the coaches who are extremely fun loving and approachable. I will highly recommend Buddy Sports.
Cheers

Hello Coach Ling,
Adeline really enjoys swimming now after we started taking your class.
She was at that stage where the fear of water was starting to set in, but within a couple of weeks of your lessons, the fear was gone. She enjoys diving under water so much that she spends her bath time with her face under water and kicking her feet.
Thank you for your patience and kind words when she is cranky. I think that's the most important criteria for a toddler coach - patience!
Sincerely,
Gina
